Eek’ in the Mayan Tzolzil language means star.
With an elaborate design of stitches, known as the rococo technique, the Valentina Eek’ bag evokes and reminds us of the brightness of the stars in the night sky. A handmade bag is woven in a backstrap loom by women from the state of Chiapas. Its rococo stitch design and the braided hammock-style handle give it a very original touch.
